A partner of Nichols &
Pratt, LLP and Nichols & Pratt Advisers, LLP, Tom has obtained
the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is a member
of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Tom is a Commissioner of Trust Funds for the Town of Weston.
Tom, Harry Pratt and
Patty Popov practice trust and estate law as partners in the Boston
law firm of Pratt, Bator & Popov, LLP. Tom is a Fellow of
the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). A member
of the Massachusetts Bar, Boston Bar Association and the Boston
Probate Forum, Tom has been the Secretary for the Massachusetts
Prudent Investor Act Committee and the Uniform Trust Code Committee
and was co-chair of the Boston Bar Association's Estate Planning
Committee.
Prior to joining Nichols & Pratt, LLP in 1991,
Tom practiced law at Palmer & Dodge in Boston and Perkins Coie
in Seattle.
Tom grew up in Cambridge,
Massachusetts. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in history from Harvard
University and earned his J.D. at the University of Chicago Law
School in 1986. Tom was a player/manager on the National Champion
Harvard Squash team. Tom is a past President of the Weston Soccer
Club and coaches several teams. |
